A Time for Everything

I haven’t blogged in a while; my apologies. Life hasn’t been that funny. (Even for me.) I’m in a rough season, and no one really wants to read internet-wide whining. If you can’t say something nice…or funny… don’t blog anything at all.

Today I hit a point where I just had to mourn. You know what? That’s okay. When life happens, everybody’s got time for that. There is a time for these seasons. The Bible says so. So do Simon and Garfunkel. Looking back, I can see how God sustained me in each season, just as he is doing now (no matter how it feels). He also sent amazing people to walk with me. If you’re reading this, you are probably one of them.

Do you need to take some time to just deal and face what is before you? Go for it. It’s is time.

For everything there is a season and a time for every matter under heaven. A time to be born:IMG00187

A time to die… (Curse you, kid germs!)

A time to plant and a time to pluck up what is planted:

A time to KILL:

And a time to heal:

A time to break down:

And a time to build up:

A time to weep:

And a time to laugh!

A time to MOURN:

And a time to dance!

A time to cast away stones and a time to gather stones together:IMG_1917IMG_1938

A time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing:

A time to seek and a time to lose. A time to keep and a time to cast away. A time to tear and a time to sew. (6 moves in 7 years!)IMG_3356

A time to keep silence and a time to speak.IMG_5792IMG_6666

A time to love and a time to hate:

A time for war and a time for peace.

Take the time. I’m learning that you can’t rush the really awful seasons. You have time for it…unless it is bronchitis. As we all know, nobody has time for that.
